SAJA is an Open Source Secure AJAX Framework for PHP4 & PHP5, with optional secured data transfer. It is designed for the speedy creation of simple, secure, and maintainable AJAX applications, without the need to write any JavaScript.

It features secure function calls and direct debugging. Avoids the use of JS XML callback functions, hence the name `SAJA`, or `Secure Asynchronous Javascript`. Robust functionality for a small set of functions.

For the most part there’s no javascript. You’ll only have to write javascript if you’re doing something less common, or if you want to write a custom callback.

This Open Source Secure AJAX Framework for PHP is light in weight, only 14k in total. The only part that needs to be downloaded by the end user is 3.8k.
